Halloween festivities in NYC are as varied as the city that never sleeps!
Many New Yorkers and visitors know of the city’s annual festive Village Halloween Parade, but did you know that there is a Big Apple Halloween Dog Parade?
There is and it’s at Tompkins Square Park dog run on October 24th!
Not to be outdone by dogs in costumes, the High Line Park offers Halloween festivities and activities for revelers of all ages also on October 24th! Visitors will enjoy a haunted tour of the High Line Park and then lots of treats as they travel a trick or treat ( mostly treat ) quest in the city park.
Enjoy being outdoors for Halloween activities but don’t forget to layer up to stay warm!
I layer a long sleeve top under a sweater to be comfortable in the Fall.
This dark blue sweater is an awesome choice to look great and stay warm in the autumn.
So whether you want to smile at New York dogs in creative costumes, or wander a treat quest on the High Line October 24th is sure to be a sweet day in NYC!
Layer up right to be warm and festive this Halloween!
