Here in New York City we love the Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and the Christmas Holiday season!
It’s a wonderful time in the Big Apple when we enjoy the city decked out in magnificent lights and decorations!
It’s also a time when we think of ways to help our neighbors that may be having a lonely Holiday season.
A simple cheerful card in the mail can bring a smile to the face of a lonely senior, someone in poor health, military personnel or a US veteran with little or no family to fill their mail box with uplifting Holiday cards.
Join hundreds of volunteers and say yes I’ll take the time this season to send some cards to someone who needs some Holiday joy sent to them this time of year!
Submit your name and address and The Angel Card Project and in December you’ll be sent this year’s list. The list will have the names, addresses and a brief statement to the person’s situation.
It’s always good to reach out, especially at the Holidays! Come be an Angel with a Holiday card!
Awesome idea! I am going to do it.. my daughter (16) can help as well. As a matter of fact, she and I are participating in Operation Turkey in Houston where we are giving our time to help feed the needy, such a great cause~
Thanks Kristen!
Our family loves finding ways to make a difference in the lives of others. We just helped serve a Thanksgiving meal on a local reservation our church serves. This is a great additional way to connect with those who may be feeling alone as the holidays approach. Thanks for sharing!!
What wonderful hearts in your family Brenda! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the reminder about this project. I’m going to help out!
Thank you so much Vickie!
